RESILIENCE WEEK

Last year, the one day Summit grew into Red Sky Week — a week of events hosted by the community, from live Firetech demos to a tour of PG&E’s hazard monitoring center.

This year, we’re expanding Red Sky Week into Resilience Week.

Resilience is the ability to prevent disasters, withstand them, and recover quickly when they hit — whether that's wildfire, grid failure, flooding, extreme heat, water scarcity, or insurance collapse. It matters more every year: the US now sees a billion-dollar disaster roughly every two weeks, down from every 82 days in the 1980s.

The people working on grid resilience, extreme heat, flooding and other hazards are where wildfire was five years ago. They’re solving real problems with real budgets, but with no community and nowhere to convene. We want to help build one.

Red Sky Summit remains the anchor, the same size and same community. Around it, we’re curating a week of events across wildfire, grid, water, heat, flood, and insurance, hosted by organizations across the relevant ecosystems. Check out the full calendar below.
